Initially responsible for acceptance of facilities and equipment within (ILA’s, 3R’s) and OSP Fiber Optic Network, pursue and resolve roadblocks that will effect completion of the network schedule. Assist in the splicing and testing of the initial cable to insure dark fiber ready dates are met. Once the Network is accepted daily operation and maintenance of the Network. This includes route surveillance, cable locating, maintenance of optronics, dark fiber customer assistance, emergency restoration, etc.Chief of Staff for Intercity involved establishing & monitoring capital / expense budgets, business plans, force projections, staffing, etc. Oversee Cable Protection, Safety, Training and Quality Assurance’s implementation of programs, methods and procedures for acceptance and operation of the Intercity Network.
